On July 25th, 2022, Exodus Watch Company was fortunate enough to be a part of the second annual MM27 Celebrity Charity Classic golf tournament in Guelph, ON that helped raise over $20,000 for mental health.
The sold-out tournament was hosted by McFadden’s Movement—a non-profit organization founded by Garrett McFadden in 2016 which helps raise funds in support of mental health.
Over 120 golfers took part in the tournament at Cutten Fields Golf Course including many OHL and other professional level hockey players. For the event, Exodus was a hole sponsor and provided the first place prize—4 custom engraved ‘EON’ model watches. The watches were won by: Tyler Cameron, Ben McFarlane, Graham Costigan, and Tyler Shaap with a winning score of 51.
“It was incredible seeing so many local businesses and volunteers coming together to support such a great cause and make the event a success. We’re hoping to continue working with McFadden’s Movement in the future, they’re doing great things out there.” said Sebastian Wasilik, Co-Founder of Exodus Watch Co.
Events like the MM27 Charity Classic are absolutely vital for the sake of supporting mental health. It's a great opportuntiy for individuals and businesses to come together and contribute to the community. Additionally, it's also a great way of enjoying a nice (and competitive) round of golf!
In summary, Exodus was proud to be a part of this tournament and are extremely excited to seeing the growth of McFadden's Movement in the future. I strongly encourage any person or business in the Guelph area to reach out to McFadden's Movement to find out more about this incredible non-profit organisation!
In the future, Exodus will constantly strive to continue our commitment to mental health by participating in events like the MM27 Guelph Celebrity Charity Classic.
